Andrea Magder is a NYC based writer and founder of The Artist Lives Gallery, a nonprofit honoring the creative legacies of unrecognized artists who have passed away. She has written for stage and screen and worked in feature film development, producing independent features for the theatrical market. Her essays have appeared in Elephant Journal, with a forthcoming piece in Next Avenue in May 2025. Her writing is shaped by personal experience, most profoundly by the loss of her son in 2017.
