Joanna is a graduate of The Writing Studio at SFU. Her non-fiction work is published in the anthology “Better Next Year” (Tidewater Press, 2023), Bacopa Literary Review, and she is a regular contributor for Maple and Alive Magazines. Founder and co-host of a popular reading event and podcast called SPiEL_vancouver, Joanna draws on vast life experiences from sailing across oceans to selling precious gemstones in her upcoming collection of short stories. A newly-minted empty-nester, Joanna lives in beautiful Vancouver, Canada, where she cold dips and forest bathes year-round.
