Video: What Are The Excuses You Are Using To (Not) Make Shit Happen In Your Life?

Are Your Excuses Keeping You From Making Shit Happen aka Manifesting?

“I don’t know how. I don’t have enough time. I am too old. I am too tired. I’m not good at it.” Bla bla bla. Excuses, excuses. What are some of yours? Today’s Vlog is on calling bullshit on our excuses. Post your thoughts below and as always, please share. Love, jen.

See you this weekend Seattle. Sunday is sold out but Saturday’s workshop has space. Click here to book. You do NOT have to be a yogi. Just be a human.

The following guest post is by my favorite writer and dear friend, Emily Rapp. Many of you know her already because I talk about her endlessly. Some of you may even follow her own blog Little Seal.  Emily is a great source of inspiration and love for me. I urge you to take the time and read her words. Also, my Manifestation t-shirts are an effort to raise money for Tay Sachs, as well as Prader Willi Research. It is my greatest honor to introduce you, Dear Manifesters, to the brilliant and gorgeous Emily Rapp.

  1. I like the premise Jen. Umm….I think some people may not know how, if that makes sense..…I mean someone who doesn’t know how to surf needs that first lesson, someone who’s never rolled sushi could use a hand from someone who’s rolled sushi, I’ve never never climbed and would probably be scared shitless, but an initial nudge, and some knowledge would be super awesome, or say someone who needs to lose 100lbs. (I lost 67, but I sure as shit didn’t know how to do it initially) sometimes needs a hand getting started. I think support helps eliminate excuses, creates real lasting action, and sustainable success in whatever you do 🙂

But action….action is the cure to anything in your life that you are not happy with, but dam having a great support team sure helps 🙂

Thanks for your writing Jen, it’s inspiring!

  2. And my excuses…..”no time”, “Depressed”……”living in Ohio where it’s dark and cold for 7 months out of the year lol!”….”I’m feeling bad so I can’t write”…….This post hit my email today, and it was the perfect day for me to see it. Sorry, I may be rambling, but I’m sure there are some others out there that feel the same, and this type of encouragement really helps! I will stop blowing up the reply section…..I just think saying a real genuine “thanks” has been lost a little these days. 🙂 My excuses + my garbage = needs taken out

  3. I love you, Jen!! You have been with me through your Manifestation through the unraveling of a lot of my excuses but right now my two main excuses are, I don’t have enough money and I’m too old! Any help you can give me would be welcomed! Thanks for all you do!

  4. I always think about it this way- maybe it was Tony Robbing who first said something like it but if you don’t start now, when? And in one month or one year you’ll be that much farther along than if you’ve never started. He said it much more
Eloquently, but the point is to just start!
