Geri Lipschultz holds an MFA in fiction from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, as well as Ph.D. from Ohio University. She teached writing at Hunter College and Borough of Manhattan Community College. Her work has appeared in The Toast and 5X5, NonBinary Review, and in Helen Literary Journal as well as The New York Times, among others. She was awarded a Creative Artists in Public Service (CAPS) grant from New York State, and a story of hers won the fiction 2012 award from So to Speak: a feminist journal of language and art.
