Marissa is a college professor whose work has appeared in The Atlantic, Creative Nonfiction, Guernica, The Rumpus, Paste, and elsewhere. She received my MFA in Creative Writing and Environment from Iowa State University, and currently teaches writing at the University of Pittsburgh – Johnstown.
