Savannah Cottingham is a creative nonfiction writer from Montana whose work explores survival, family mythology, motherhood, inherited chaos, and the complicated process of becoming yourself. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Manastash Literary Journal, True Magazine, The Columbia, The Rook, Folio Literary Journal, Table//Feast Literary Journal and others. She holds an M.A. in Professional and Creative Writing from Central Washington University, where she served as Lead Creative Nonfiction Editor for Manastash Literary Journal. Savannah is the 2027 Rona Jaffe Graduate Fellow at the Warren Wilson College where she is studying a second master’s degree in creative nonfiction. When she’s not writing about family, motherhood, or the strange things we inherit, she’s probably drinking coffee, wandering a thrift store, or trying to convince herself she doesn’t need another literary tattoo.
