Marianne M. Porter earned her MFA in Creative Writing at Sierra Nevada College, Incline Village, Nevada, in August 2014. She writes a quarterly column called Tahoe Stories for Moonshine Ink, a monthly publication in North Lake Tahoe and is a correspondence teacher for the Incarcerated Student Program through Lake Tahoe Community College.
