I am a freelance editor and writing teacher. My essays have appeared most recently in MicroLit Almanac and the Brevity Blog. My work has been named notable three times in The Best American Essays and won a Maine Literary Award for Short Nonfiction in 2019. Essays have also appeared in Hazlitt, The Common, Hippocampus, Literal Latte, The Southeast Review, and elsewhere. I received my MFA from Bennington.
