Raymond “Phoenix” Cutway is a poet, essayist, and deeply introspective writer whose work explores identity, trauma, love, survival, addiction, mortality, and the emotional architecture people construct in order to endure difficult lives. Cutway is the published author of the poetry collections From the Labyrinth of the Soul and Gospels from the Abyss: A Phoenix Cycle. Outside of writing, his interests include philosophy, astronomy, history, music subcultures, gaming, and the exploration of altered states of consciousness as lenses through which to examine perception and identity.
